Primers and activators for extra demanding applications. If you want extra adhesion and durability to our adhesives, sealants and tapes, use a primer or an activator. You can also use primers and activators to speed up the curing time and for better corrosion protection.
PRIMERS FOR GLASS:
Glue and seal car glass, glass panels and window glass. Use the primer together with glue, silicone sealant or double-sided tape.
PRIMERS FOR METAL: Colorless primer for difficult surfaces, especially on raw or anodized aluminum, or on galvanized steel, PVC and glass. Promotes adhesion and improves bonding. Low viscosity. The primer is used advantageously together with 3M's polyurethane adhesives but also with other adhesives and sealants. + tape.
PLAST PRIMER / ALLROUND PRIMER: for plastic, metal, wood, concrete, glass and several other materials. Ensure compatibility on a test surface before use. The all-round primer is a low-viscosity liquid that is applied to the substrate. The primer increases adhesion and blocks UV radiation. We recommend primer for maximum durability and strength of the joint. The plastic primer is an easy-to-apply primer with low viscosity used, among other things, to improve adhesion to acrylic plastic, polyester, glass, wood, plastic, metal and concrete. Primer can prevent corrosion and increase durability in humid environments.
