Foam tape

Foam tape is a type of tape with a foam-like structure. Foam tape is primarily used for applications where a certain degree of flexibility, cushioning or filling is required.

Mounting: Foam tape is often used to mount objects on surfaces where an even distribution of pressure is important, such as mounting signs, mirrors or decorations on walls or other surfaces.

Insulation: The foam-like structure of foam tape makes it useful for creating an insulating barrier against sound, temperature or humidity. It can be used to seal gaps and prevent heat loss or heat transmission.

Sealing: Foam tape can be used to create a seal between two surfaces to prevent the ingress of water, air or dust. Foam tape is commonly used around window frames, doors, or other openings to improve energy efficiency and protect against weather conditions.

Shock absorption: Due to its soft and flexible structure, foam tape can be used to absorb shock or vibration. It is commonly used in electronic devices, packaging, and shipping containers to protect against damage during handling and transportation.

Construction: In some construction projects, foam tape can be used to fill gaps or unevenness between different building materials. It can also be used to create a seal around pipes, ventilation ducts, or other installations.
